“How to” Lessons in Attitude
ATTITUDE
(Mission Driven)
Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.
– Abraham Lincoln
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.
– Albert Ellis
The willingness to see our own errors in judgments, actions, and attitudes is the basis for personal wisdom and offers the seeds for personal growth. Michael Josephson, advised, we are responsible to choose the attitudes, actions, and reactions that shape our lives. It is this claiming of personal power that puts us in the driver’s seat (cockpit).
Continually ask yourself:
– What attitudes am I nurturing?
– What attitudes am I smothering?
– How are these attitudes affecting my outcomes?
– What am I willing to do about it?
